Christmas Eve, Diana and I went to our church's Christmas Eve service. We sang the old Christmas hymns and watched some of the church members do skits about Christmas and family relationships by reading letters. They showed a lot of Christmas snow pictures from last year, too. We sang Silent Night by candlelight and then went home.
Christmas Day was spent with Diana's siblings and their families and Diana's parents and my parents. We had a lot to eat, including one of my personal favorities, a pumpkin pie made by my mom. We also had some croquet matches in the backyard in which Bobby's ball got pounded to the fence by everyone who hit his ball. We got some excellent videos including one where Bobby cheated by encouraging the dog next door (a black lab named Scout) to put his paw through the fence and move Bobby's ball away from the fence so he could get a better shot at it. We had a white elephant type gift exchange and I got an LED flashlight. After all this, I can't wait until Tuesday to eat again.
